Cheap Thrills: Montagne Jeunesse lipbalms

Montagne Jeunesse will be known to most of us for their one-use sachets of face and body products, like the much-loved chocolate face mask. But they’ve recently branched out to offer a new range of 100% pure beeswax lipbalms in an array of interesting-sounding flavours.

I’ve got my beady eye on the Pressed Cherry & Cocoa variety (The Chocolate Balm), but there are also Cranberry & Aloe Vera (Cracked Lips), Shea Butter & Mango (Sore Lips), Aloe Vera and Spearmint (Healing Balm) and the intriguing Wheatgerm and Black Pepper (Weather Screen).

All the balms contain olive oil and shea butter as well as beeswax for as much softening, smoothing and protecting power as possible, but are free of petroleum jelly.

Buy the balms for £3.05 each on the Montagne Jeunesse website

I have tried 3 of these, Tesco had them cheap (around £1 I think), and I’ve loved them all. I’m currently using the Cracked Lips one which smells gorgeous and goes on really smoothly. I constantly have chapped lips, no matter what I use, but I like this one as it feels nice on my lips. It doesn’t last ages so needs topping up regularly but I dont mind, not considering how cheap it was to buy. I’ve also tried the Sore Lips and Healing Balm ones and they’re just as nice, I just happen to like the smell of the Cranberry one so have bought multiples of that one.
