 Taylor Swift Country crooner Taylor Swift is known for her wholesome, girl-next-door style; all straight blonde tresses, nude lips and playful party frocks.
For the Jingle Bell Ball in LA at the weekend however, she did a fashion and beauty U-turn and embraced vintage glamour wholeheartedly. The 22-year-old chose a grown-up navy and white striped Kate Spade dress which she complemented perfectly with an old Hollywood beauty aesthetic. Her normally poker straight hair had been curled and loosely undone and she turned up the heat in the lip department with a striking slick of red lipstick.
We’re loving this new look from Taylor – long may it continue.

 Jourdan Dunn at the Evening Standard Theatre Awards Brit model Jourdan Dunn is today’s beauty golden girl. For the Evening Standard Theatre Awards, Jourdan teamed a Burberry sheath dress with a pared-back make-up look and tumbling, glossy locks. Proof that a natural look can be a winner on the red carpet.

Last month, I was lucky enough to be invited (alongside some fabulous beauty bloggers) to the super-swanky Savoy hotel to meet the face of Pantene, Cat Deeley. She was there to talk us through the latest launch from the brand – Colour Protect & Smooth – and share a few beauty and style secrets along the way.
When it comes to fronting an accessible, affordable haircare brand, I don’t think you could ask for a better spokesperson than Cat. Not only is she absolutely lovely (down to earth, funny and a real girl’s girl) but she also has hair to die for. This girl knows who to go to for an amazing blow-dry! But this launch was all about coloured hair, and Cat’s honey-blonde locks are some of the best in the business, so I was keen to find out how she gets that gorgeous colour whilst keeping her hair looking soft and shiny…
