Washing that man right out of your hair is so, well, 1950s; heed Katy Perry‘s advice and keep things fresh by changing up your hair colour every few days. Ok, maybe not quite so often but you’ve got to admire KP’s constant change-up. Whilst she’s rocking cobalt blue hair IRL, she stayed in the pink long enough to shoot ghd’s new gritty mermaid esque Air Hairdryer campaign. Do you think Ariel is jealous?

We’ve a hunch that her latest pairing will go a lot more smoothly than her past collaboration (sorry Russell). Katy Perry has teamed up with false lash purveyors Eylure to create her first lash collection, a range of four styles that includes ‘Oh My’, thick, dramatic double lashes; ‘Oh Honey’, a full set with a vintage flick at the corners; and ‘Sweetie Pie’, a subtle, natural looking set.
As a fan of false lashes – Katy is rarely seen without them – we think she knows a thing or two about what makes falsies so fabulous. Priced at £5.95, the range is available nationwide.
It was announced a little while ago that Katy Perry had been signed as the new face of ghd hair stylers, and now the first images have been released.
Shot by renowned photographer David LaChapelle, the three images represent what ghd consider to be three Iconic Eras of Style, and show how the styler (don’t call it a straightnener!) can be used to recreate the looks.
Special gift sets containing the ghd gold classic styler, a bag designed to compliment the style and various other products have been created to match each of the eras. There are also step-by-step guides for how to create each of Katy’s looks. First up (above) is Glamour, a 50s inspired look. Keep reading for more…

I’ve been waiting for the Katy Perry OPI collection since last year when I got a sneaky peek at the colours before they went on sale. They’re now trickling through to retailers, and I instantly snapped up my top pick from the range, ‘Not Like The Movies’ (£9.95), which is best described as a light duochrome polish – a strange mix of purple, silver (in tiny glitter particles) and green that looks different depending on the light. Wear is good – with topcoat it lasted a good three days without chipping at all.
Please excuse the state of my nails and cuticles in the pic above – I’ve been battering them a bit with various products and polish and they’re not reacting well to something, but I really wanted to try this polish out!
