Beauty companies want you to try out their new products. They believe that if you use one of their products just once, you will see how good they are and will want to use them again. But they understand that you need to know how good the product is before you will consider buying it. Giving you a free trial size to try out at home is the best way to convince you that their product is the best one available today. They also want to know what you think of their product, so by giving feedback on it once you have tried it you will be helping the companies develop even better products in the future.
2. Why do I have to pay £1 by text message for the products? [Back to top]
This is a contribution towards the postage and packaging charges incurred by sending the products out to you. We’re sure you understand that giving these products away for free brings with it high costs. If you can help by contributing a small amount to receive your package of free items, we can keep this service up and running for you to benefit from in the future. At present we can only accept payments by text that are going through a UK provider.
3. Why can I only pay by mobile phone? [Back to top]
Beauty companies have agreed to make these products available to our users but they understandably want to make sure that everyone gets only one product. The most personal thing anyone possesses nowadays is a mobile phone. So if we make sure that each product can only be ordered once per mobile phone number, then we can ensure it is only ordered once per person. We will send you only one single message per order. You will not be inundated with multiple messages from us and we certainly will not pass on your mobile phone number to anyone else.
4. How long will it take for me to receive my products? [Back to top]
You will receive your gift pack in your mail within 5 working days of placing your order. The products are sent in a small package (approx. 2.5 cm tall) which should fit through a standard UK letterbox. However through experience we know that not every letterbox will be able to accommodate the package. If you are not certain that it will fit and you may not be home to receive it, we suggest you give us an alternative delivery address (for example your place of work).
5. Why do you need to know so much information about me? [Back to top]
Beauty products are very different in how they are used and applied. It is important for us to understand who you are and how you use beauty products so that we can offer you the best products available. The companies that we work with also want to ensure that their products are used by the right people to get the best results. For example products for anti-aging should not generally be used by teenagers, and people with uncoloured hair will not see the benefit of a colour-protect shampoo. In addition the companies would like to understand their customers a little better so they can adapt their products and their communication around them. This enables them to reach the right people.
6. Why can’t I order a product that is on your site? [Back to top]
There can be three reasons for this occurring. Firstly we only have a limited supply of products so we may simply have run out. Secondly we select products based on the information you have given us, and we match you with the best products available. Generally, the more we know about you, the more products we can recommend to you. Finally our beauty panel selects products they think are interesting for you to read about but we might not have samples available of all of those. But trust us we are trying very hard to work with the manufacturers to make them available.

You can order a maximum of 3 products – one per category – every month. When you have selected three products in total you are directed to the checkout page. You can only order each product once per mobile phone number.
8. What will you do with my information? [Back to top]
We use your information to make the trial products available to you. So your general preferences will affect which products you can select on our site. In addition we use this information to prepare offers for you that we believe you will find interesting. You can at any time request for us to remove you from our database and stop using your information. You can read more about this in the terms of use. We will never share your private data with a third party.
9. How much email will you send to me? [Back to top]
3 weeks after we send your trial products we will send you an email to ask for your feedback on the products you received. We will also send you further offers once a month for new trial products which are available. If you do not want to receive any emails please go to your personal details page and check the box to update your information.
10. Where can you ship my products? [Back to top]
Products can only be shipped to UK addresses, and only if a UK mobile phone number is supplied. We are currently working on making this service available in other countries.
11. What do I do if I don’t receive my package? [Back to top]
We work with Royal Mail, which has a 97.5% record of delivering mail to the right address on time. Unfortunately there will be cases where the package doesn’t reach you in time. In this case we would ask you to wait 7 working days from the date you placed your order. If the package still does not arrive send an email to member_support@latestinbeauty.com. Please put your username and mobile phone number in the subject line. We will then investigate the matter.
12. Can I track my order? [Back to top]
Unfortunately we are not able to offer this facility at present. We will send you an email when we receive your order and we guarantee that we will handle your order within 2 working days. If you don’t receive your products within 7 working days send an email to member_support@latestinbeauty.com. Please put your username and mobile phone number in the subject line. We will then investigate the matter.

Go to your My Profile page, enter a new password and then confirm the password by entering it again. All you need to do then is click save and your password is changed.

Go to the sign in page and click the ‘problems’ button. Follow the steps given and your password will be re-sent to you.
16. How can I be removed from the database? [Back to top]
If you no longer want to receive any trial products or offers, we can remove you from our database. Please send an email to member_support@latestinbeauty.com and put your username and mobile phone number in the subject line. We would appreciate it if you could tell us why you wish to unsubscribe; a few words is sufficient.
17. I have not received my Goodie pack! What do I do? [Back to top]
We aim to dispatch your goodie box within 2 working days after we received your order. Royal Mail guarantees that the boxes will arrive within 5 working days. If you have not received it by then, please accept our apologies, but hold out for a few more days, as we have been told that sometimes the delivery 'just takes a bit longer'. If you have still not received your goodie box 7 working days after placing your order, please send an e-mail to member_support@latestinbeauty.com with "Gift missing!" as the subject. We will resend your goodie box to you asap so you can start testing the products, and we log a trace with our mail company.
18. How long does it take before I receive my code via text? [Back to top]
Your code should normally be with you within 1 minute after you requested the code. Unfortunately we have seen cases where the code has not been received until a few hours later. This is due to the delivery mechanism of your mobile provider. You shouldn’t worry as your code is valid for 24 hours and you can return to the site and finalize your checkout at any time before the code expires.
19. I have not received my code via text, what do I do? [Back to top]
We have seen a few examples where the code did not reach the sender. Reason for this can be an error in the mobile provider sending mechanism, not enough calling credit on a pre-paid card or the inbox of your mobile phone is full and cannot receive any more messages. Just drop us a short email on member_support@latestinbeauty.com referring to the mobile phone number you used (please write it in the subject line) and we will have a look what has gone wrong. In case you had enough calling credit we will send you a code that you can then use for checkout.
