Beauty brands want you to try out their new beauty samples. They believe that if you use one of their beauty samples just once, you will see how good they are and want to use them again. But they understand that you need to know how good the product is before you will consider buying it. Giving you a beauty sample to try out at home is the best way to introduce you to their product and for you to discover whether you like it. Your feedback is invaluable to them, so by giving feedback once you have tried it, you will be helping these brands develop even better beauty products in the future.
2. Why do I have to pay £1 by text message for the beauty samples? [Back to top]
In order for us to send you free beauty samples we ask that you pay a small contribution towards the postage and packaging costs. At present we can only accept payments by text through a UK provider. Don't worry, we will not share your phone number or use it to send you any messages you didn’t ask for; we know how frustrating that can be!

Beauty companies have agreed to make these beauty samples available to our users but, understandably, they want to make sure that everyone gets a sample only once. The most personal thing anyone possesses is a mobile phone, so if we make sure that each product can only be ordered once per mobile phone number, then we can ensure it is only ordered once per person. We will send you one single message per order. We will not pass on your mobile phone number to anyone else, unless you specifically indicate that you want to be contacted.
4. How long will it take for me to receive my beauty samples? [Back to top]
You will receive your Little Beauty Box by post within 5 working days of placing your order. The beauty samples are sent in a small package (approx. 2.5 cm tall) which should fit through a standard UK letterbox. However, through experience we know that not every letterbox will be able to accommodate the package. If you are not certain that it will fit and you may not be home to receive it, we suggest you give us an alternative delivery address (for example your place of work).
5. Why do you need so much information in my beauty profile? [Back to top]
Everyone is different. We all have a different skin type, hair type and prefer to use or apply beauty products in different ways. Therefore it is important for us to understand what your preferences are and know your own individual beauty profile to ensure that we can offer beauty samples that are best suited to you. The beauty companies we work with also want to understand their customers better so that they can use your feedback to improve their beauty products.
6. Why can’t I order a sample that is on your site? [Back to top]
There are a couple of reasons this may occur. Firstly we only have a limited supply of beauty samples so we may simply have run out. Secondly we select beauty samples based on the information you have given us and match you with the best beauty samples available. Generally, the more we know about you, the more beauty samples we can recommend to you. We are constantly working to add new beauty samples on the site so if on occasion you cannot see a product you would like to sample, do come back as we update each category regularly.
7. How many beauty samples can I order? [Back to top]
You can order one Little Beauty Box per month which contains a maximum of three samples, one per category. When you have selected three beauty samples in total you are directed to the checkout page. You can only order each product sample once per mobile phone number.
8. What will you do with my information? [Back to top]
We use your information to build a beauty profile of you so that we can offer you the beauty samples that are individually suited to you. In addition we use this information to present you with offers and promotions we think you will be interested in. At any time you can request to be removed you from our database and stop using your information. You can read more about this in the terms of use. We will never share your data with a third party, unless you have specifically indicated you want to be contacted by them.
9. How often will you send me emails? [Back to top]
Three weeks after we have sent your beauty samples we might email you and ask for your feedback on the samples you received. We may also occasionally email you if we have any promotions we think you will be interested in or to let you know about new beauty samples which are available. If you do not want to receive any emails please go to your personal details page and update your information to state you do not want to receive communication.
10. Where can you ship my beauty samples? [Back to top]
Beauty samples can only be shipped to UK addresses, and only if a UK mobile phone number is supplied. We are currently working on making this service available in other countries.
11. Can I track my order? [Back to top]
Unfortunately we are not able to offer this facility at present. We will send you an email when we receive your order and we guarantee that we will handle your order within 2 working days. If you don’t receive your beauty samples within 7 working days do not hesitate to send an email to member_support@latestinbeauty.com. Please put your username, mobile phone number, date you place your order and your delivery address in the email and we will investigate the matter straight away.

Go to your My Profile page, enter a new password and then confirm the password by entering it again. All you need to do then is click save and your password is changed.

15. How can I be removed from the database? [Back to top]
If you no longer want to receive any beauty samples or offers, we can remove you from our database. Please send an email to member_support@latestinbeauty.com and put your username and mobile phone number in the subject line. We would appreciate it if you could tell us why you wish to unsubscribe; a few words is sufficient.
16. I have not received my Little Beauty Box! What do I do? [Back to top]
We aim to dispatch your Little Beauty Box within 2 working days after we receive your order. Royal Mail guarantees that the boxes will arrive within 5 working days; although we all know that sometimes the delivery can take a ‘little bit longer’. Please do accept our sincere apology if this does happen. If after 9 working days you have still not received your Little Beauty Box please send an email to member_support@latestinbeauty.com with "Missing Little Beauty Box’ in the subject line and the date in which you placed your order. We will chase this up straight away with our mail company and resend your Little Beauty Box to you so you can start testing the samples.
17. How long does it take before I receive my code via text? [Back to top]
Your code should normally be with you within 1 minute after you requested the code. Unfortunately, the code occasionally takes a few hours to arrive. This is due to the delivery mechanism of your mobile provider. You shouldn’t worry as your code is valid for 24 hours and you can return to the site and finalise your checkout at any time before the code expires. If you do not receive your code please contact us on member_support@latestinbeauty.com referring to the mobile phone number you used (please write it in the subject line) and tell us which network you are with.
18. I have not received my code via text, what do I do? [Back to top]
We have seen a few examples where the code did not reach the sender. Reasons for this can include an error in the mobile provider sending mechanism, not enough calling credit on a pre-paid card, or the inbox of your mobile phone being full and unable to receive any more messages. Just drop us a short email on member_support@latestinbeauty.com referring to the mobile phone number you used (please write it in the subject line) and we will have a look what has gone wrong.
19. What size beauty samples can I expect? [Back to top]
It depends very much by brand what size the beauty samples are. Sometimes it can be miniature beauty samples of the normal retail size at other times it can be a sachet that you might get over the counter in store. We will tell you the exact sizes on all the product descriptions. To avoid disappointment please understand that these are sample sizes and not normal retail beauty samples. We will try to give you enough of the product for you to get a good feeling of what the product is like in case you want to purchase it in the future.
20. I entered my checkout code, but the website says it is invalid. What has happened? [Back to top]
Your checkout code can only be used 1 time for an order and needs to be used within 24 hours of requesting it. After this time, the code becomes invalid. If you have used your code already for your monthly Little Beauty Box, you will not be able to use it again. This means that if you also want to take advantage of one of our Exclusive Offer promotions you will need two separate checkout codes which you can request on the Checkout page. In a few cases we have seen that the text message that we sent to the mobile phone provider for delivery to your handset has been delayed by 24 hours. If that is the case please send an email to member_support@latestinbeauty.com with your mobile phone number so we can investigate and reactivate your checkout code.
21. Do I need to be a member to read the LatestinBeauty Blog? [Back to top]
No - the LatestinBeauty Blog is for anyone who has a passion for beauty and wants to find out more about the hottest beauty trends, new beauty samples and get tips and advice from our team of beauty experts. However if you are not a LatestinBeauty member you will not be able to order any beauty samples as these are one of the many benefits which are privileges for our members only.
