Eve Appeal Get Lippy Campaign

The Eve Appeal, the UK’s leading gynaecological cancer charity, has this week launched its month-long #GetLippy campaign, in which our latest launch is in aid of. The national campaign aims to provide women with the right information and confidence to clearly talk clearly about their anatomy and signs and symptoms in order to better diagnose key health concerns, including the five gynaecological cancers. You can get involved in a number of ways as the charity has teamed up with beauty and retail brand across the country – including Latest in Beauty – to launch a variety of products that donate proceeds to the charity. Our #GetLippy Box (£28) is filled with 12 beauty and health products with 10% of proceeds going to the Eve Appeal.

THE NEW REALITY OF LIPSTICK

John Lewis Augmented Reality Lipstick

John Lewis & Partners has unveiled its latest beauty innovation – a new app feature that utilises augmented reality to help customers find their perfect shade of lipstick. Providing access to a Try On feature allows customers to take a selfie and virtually try on different lipstick shades from a number of different brands before buying. The lipstick is applied and remains on the lips while the customer moves in real time. The feature can be used by downloaded the latest version of the John Lewis & Partners app.
