The Trend Report is our weekly feature – returning for 2020 – where we share with you the latest launches and news across the industry; from new product launches, beauty concepts and store launches to the latest trends you need to know about. So, what’s trending in beauty this week?

With vegan beauty a hot topic this month (have you seen our debut Vegan Beauty Edit with Holland & Barrett?) it’s been announced that M&S has relaunched the PURE range, the brand’s first vegan and cruelty-free skincare collection. Formulated with 95% naturally derived ingredients, the range will focus on fewer yet effective ingredients, many of which are UK grown or made using by-products of English wine produced for M&S. The PURE beauty line encompasses three ranges: Ultimate Cleanse, Super Hydrate and Natural Radiance, each available in stores.

MOON is a new-to-the-UK oral care brand launching exclusively into Boots stores nationwide in March. Founded to reimagine traditional oral care, the range will deliver aesthetically pleasing, effective products that are both vegan and cruelty free. Model Kendall Jenner has co-created The Teeth Whitening Pen, a hero product that sits within the range.

An ingredient trend for skincare this year seems to be the use of electrolytes in key product technology. With Paula’s Choice’s offering that landed last year, in recent weeks the talk of the web has turned to Drunk Elephant’s new F Bomb. Said to be an electrolyte nightcap, it delivers a surge of overnight hydration to your usual night time routine. F Balm is filled with tiny beans of replenishing vitamin F that burst on your skin as it’s applied. Calming and soothing, you can use it every night to wake up looking dewy and rejuvenated.

Our tanning heroes are St Tropez have come through with a new launch that provides our daily multivitamins in self-tan form. SAY WHAT? Besides delivering a natural glow to skin, this miracle worker contains beetroot extract and naturally occurring sugars which work in tandem to stimulate our natural production of vitamin D. It will also leave your complexion with a boost of hydration and help it defend against pollution. Keep an eye on our explore page over February 😉
