Benefit Cosmetics has unveiled its first standalone express brow bar, Brows A-Go-Go. Opening 1 July on Kensington Church Street, the brow bar will focus on quick and speedy brow treatments and will only stock the key Benefit products such as the Hoola and mascara range, alongside the entire brow collection.
HOT LIPS TAKE 2
Makeup extraordinaire Charlotte Tilbury has launched the second stage in her Hot Lips collection. Featuring 11 nuanced lipstick shades inspired by 11 icons, the lipsticks are housed in five collectable and refillable cases inspired by Charlotte’s universe of fashion, Hollywood, Rock ‘n’ Roll and magic. Customers will be able to mix and match their favourite design with any refill shade. This empowering collaboration with Women for Women International aims to inspire #LipstickConfidence and all Hot Lips sales will go straight to the charity to support Charlotte’s £1 million pledge. Shades include: JK Magic (pink nude in homage to JK Rowling), Dancefloor Princess (pop-pink in homage to Kylie Minogue), Glowing Jen (tawny rose in homage to Jennifer Aniston), Angel Alessandra (peachy nude in homage to Alessandra Ambrosio), In Love With Olivia (a flattering pink in homage to Olivia Palermo), Red Hot Susan (tawny-orange red in homage to Susan Sarandon), Amazing Amal (berry-pink lipstick in homage to Amal Clooney), Patsy Red (pink-based red in homage to Charlotte’s own mother and muse, Patsy Tilbury) Carina’s Star (peachy coral in homage to Carina Lau), Viva La Vergara (berry wine in homage to Sofia Vergara) and Enigmatic Edward (a clear balm, created with British Vogue editor-in-chief Edward Enninful in mind.)
AR BEAUTY TRY ON
YouTube has pathed the way with its new immersive beauty experience, AR Beauty Try-On. The new feature will allow viewers to virtually try on makeup while following tutorials to get product reviews, tips and more by offering realistic, virtual product samples. AR Beauty Try-On is currently in alpha mode and only available through FameBit by Youtube. The new tool will be available to advertisers and brands this summer, allowing content to become more educational and engaging, with the foal of driving purchases.
