This month’s member reward is brought to you by our 2020 charity partner, Look Good Feel Better. Not only is this charity a joy for us to support, Look Good Feel Better offers professional quality makeup brushes that are honoree staples in our beauty kits. All members who have created their Beauty Crush Edit this month would have received the Angled Blending Brush, and now we’re letting you in on the insider beauty secrets of how best to use this clever multi-tasker.
The LiB team were joined by Look Good Feel Better’s Regional Coordinator Makeup Artist, Alexa Riva Ravina, to showcase the many uses of this must-have addition to any makeup bag. Alexa delivers makeup tutorials to those undergoing cancer treatment during a number of dedicated LGFB workshops, giving patients useful skills and techniques to face cancer with confidence.
THREE WAYS YOU CAN USE YOUR ANGLED BLENDING BRUSH
“So, the Look Good Feel Better Angled Blending Brush is also really good for eyeshadow because it’s got a very flat tip that’s quite fluffy so it’s very good to literally soften the eyeshadow look by pressing on a shadow that’s slightly sparkly – it gives a really nice soft finish and doesn’t give any hard lines. It’s a beautiful brush.”
“The Angled Blending has bristles that are very soft, meaning it creates a really nice airbrushed look for under eye concealer. If you pat the product very subtly under the eye it creates a really nice flawless finish with your concealer”.
“The Look Good Feel Better Angled Blending Brush is good for many different things. One of my favourites is for under the eyes with powder as you can often end up with foundation and concealer getting a bit caught on the skin. The very small head that’s particularly flat means you can smooth out and get a really lovely airbrushed effect. You can also go just under the nose and above the brows to make sure you don’t have any overly shiny bits while still achieving a nice dewy finish”.
