VIVA LA VIEVE
Scottish makeup artist and influencer icon Jamie Genevieve has dropped her first collection of cosmetics this week, high-performing formulas in The Essential Collection that includes a 10-pan eyeshadow palette, various highlighters and lipsticks. Of the launch she said ““I wanted to create a makeup brand that sparks courage in those that wear it to live life to the full. To inspire and be inspired.”
SLEEK MAKEUP WORKS WITH BLACK BRITISH CREATIVES
Cosmetics brand Sleek MakeUP has launched a film I am Divine, which puts the spotlight on Black British changemakers and how makeup has played a role in their self-expression. The film’s purpose is also to relaunch their iconic i-Divine eyeshadow palette range too. “This campaign marks our wider commitment to using our communications channels as a platform to celebrate the communities we serve and the bold self-expression Sleek MakeUP is helping to facilitate”, said Katie Swift, Marketing Director, Walgreens Boots Alliance.
HARRY POTTER X BARRY M
The Harry Potter shop has announced its first-ever collaboration with Barry M Cosmetics, with three lines, the Deathly Hallows range, the Luna Lovegood collection and the Hogwarts House line ( which will, of course, include Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Slytherin and Ravenclaw). Think bold lipsticks, nail varnishes, eye palettes and accessories in this magical collab available in the Harry Potter Shop at Platform 9 ¾ in Kings Cross Station, and online too.
NYX + ANNE-MARIE
British singer-songwriter Anne-Marie has collaborated with NYX Professional Makeup on upcoming make-up tutorials. Anne-Marie announced the partnership on Instagram, posting: “Things I love about NYX [sic]: not only are their products absolute quality, not animal tested and have vegan products but also what they stand for. Unity, equality and celebrating difference.”
