Hello Daniel, you've been a successful make-up artist for over 25 years, what made you want to launch your own brand?
A
I realised there was a gap in the market for certain types of products, and as an experienced makeup artist I knew what was needed.

What’s the philosophy behind the Daniel Sandler Brand?
A
To simplify how a woman does her makeup and makes colour choices, and to create unique and long lasting formulas that are super easy to apply. The importance of affordable luxury is also huge.

How do you help woman to enhance their beauty and to feel confident?
A
I show them, via videos on my site, how easy it is to look your best. As soon as a woman sees and understands this, then this in itself is a tremendous confidence booster.

If you were to create a minimalistic makeup bag, what products would you choose to put into it?
A
Primer, Concealer, Mascara, Blusher and Lip colour- this would be my edit of choice.

You created this stunning turquoise eyeliner exclusively for The Glamour Beauty Edit Box. Would you be able to give us some tips on how to use it to achieve the trendiest look this spring?
A
There are a couple of ways to use it:
Keep it simple. Apply it along the inner water-line and then apply mascara to lashes.
Apply as above but then apply heavily around the upper and lower lashes then smudge with your finger.
As the colour is beautifully vivid, I suggest keeping the rest of the makeup very neutral with a hint of pink or peach on lips and cheeks if you feel you need a bit more colour to your complexion.

What would you say to encourage ladies to go bold and start using colours and brighter shades?
A
Go for it. This particular colour, when kept to one zone, is seriously flattering and gets you attention for all the right reasons. Everyone will say “Wow I love that on you.”

Can you tell us what your favourite product in Daniel Sandler range is and why?
A
Apart from this divine Aqua Velvet pencil, my Watercolour fluid blushers are my favorite and possibly the product that I am most proud of. It’s a water-resistant fluid blush, available in multiple shades, that blends beautifully on skin and lasts all day.

Many of your products are multi use, are they still easy to use?
A
Yes they are. The formulas are so luxe that you can apply with fingers. I like to offer the busy woman the ability to get ready in 5 minutes with my products.
