CAROLINE HIRONS LAUNCHES BACK BEAUTY
Aesthetician and beauty guru Caroline Hirons has launched the Back Beauty campaign in a bid to encourage the public to support the beauty industry. Whether that’s making future appointments or buying gift vouchers, Hirons has teamed up with the British Beauty Council to help the industry stay afloat in the midst of the second lockdown. Caroline stated: “We want the Beauty industry to survive this second hit to their income. They need our help to stay afloat while they once again cannot work and to be able to reopen when this second lockdown is over. Let’s protect the Beauty Industry we all know and love. Let’s continue to Back Beauty.”
PHARRELL WILLIAMS’ HUMANRACE
Singer Pharrell Williams has revealed the launch of his new cosmetics line Humanrace. Genderless, vegan and fragrance-free, the skincare products are dedicated to the everyday pursuit of wellbeing. The full line will be released and on sale November 25th, and will include cleanser, moisturiser and exfoliator.
CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN FOR ALL
Christian Louboutin has launched a brand new unisex fragrance collection, Loubiworld. There are seven fragrances available: Loubicroc, a spicy oriental; Loubifunk, a floral rose scent; Loubiraj, a leather woody scent; Loubikiss, a floral woody scent; Loubidoo, a floral fruity scent, Loubicrown, a woody oriental and Loubirouge, an oriental spicy scent. Housed in red bottles with ornate lids, these perfumes look as good as they smell. Christian Louboutin said of the perfumes, “We will travel the world through my mind and experience seven unique fragrances where I have bottled my dreams, fantasies and imagination”.
DERMALOGICA DEBUTS REFILLS
Skincare experts Dermalogica have released their brand new refills packs for their Daily Microfoliant, with the aim of cutting down on plastic and the brand’s greenhouse gas emissions. The Daily Microfoliant is a rice-based powder that activates in water to release ingredients like salicylic acid and rice enzymes that polish the skin – original packaging is recyclable too, and customers can subscribe to multiple refills if they prefer.
