For this month’s The Beauty Thread, we’re talking all things natural with our Customer Service Manager, Shivona.
As someone who makes a conscious effort to use only natural beauty products, the Oh So Natural monthly edit was the perfect month for me to share with you the products I use in my natural beauty routine.
SKINCARE
I like to keep my skincare simple and natural – I begin every morning massaging the True Skincare Clarifying Safflower & Geranium Cleansing Oil onto my face, removing both make-up and impurities to leave my skin clean, clear and nourished. I wash this off, pat dry, and follow with the Urban Veda Purifying Hydrating Toner to my face and neck, which I find very effective in targeting breakouts due to its natural, organic, antibacterial ingredients. I complete my routine with the Elemental Herbology Moisture Replenish Cell Plumping facial moisturiser which hydrates my skin perfectly and is a great makeup base. I also exfoliate a few times a week using the Palmer’s exfoliating facial scrub.
BATH & BODY
I exercise regularly and love a nice warm bath – I add about a capful of the Aromatherapy Associates De-Stress Muscle Bath and Shower oil, which smells amazing and helps relax and heal my muscles. My bath is followed by moisturising my body (generously!) with the Soaper Duper Yuzufruit & Fig body butter which leaves my skin feeling super soft and smooth.
HAIRCARE
I use a LOT of heat to style my frizzy wavy hair, whether that’s from straightening or curling my hair, so after washing and towel drying my hair I need a product that’s going to give my hair some extra TLC. Recently, I have been using the Palmer’s Natural Fusions Leave-In Conditioner and focusing on my particularly dry ends. I find this really helps to define my curls and leaves my hair feeling healthy and soft ready for whatever style I fancy that day.
