Youtube beauty guru Patrick Starr has long been teaching us the tips and tricks of the trade when it comes to makeup hacks, but now he’s taking on a new venture. The influencer is set to launch his own line of cosmetics, named One/Size, with the mantra that ‘makeup is a one size fits all’. Although only makeup remover products have been announced so far, the line that will be available at Sephora is said to incorporate his signature ‘kitsch and class style’, while also celebrating drag queens and the LGBTQ+ community. We can’t wait!

The calming sound of babbling brooks, the faint sound of birds chirping… Burt’s Bees is all about getting us in touch with nature, if this collab is anything to go by. Partnering with music streaming service Spotify, the cosmetics company has created a playlist aimed to offer an escape by bringing the outdoors, in. The playlist is the first branded nature sounds playlist of its kind on the platform, and is also part of Burt’s Bees Vitamin N content series.

Singing legend Lady Gaga has spent many a red carpet twirling in Valentino gowns, but this week the designer and songstress became even closer. The fashion powerhouse unveiled Gaga as the official face of its newest fragrance, Voce Viva, which is set to drop in September. Gaga was chosen because of her individuality, and dedication to promoting inclusivity. Pierpaolo Piccioli, creative director of Valentino. “Her participation in this campaign elevates the symbolic power of the project to the highest level. She is the icon of a generation. Her message of freedom, passion for art, self-consciousness and equality is the same our Valentino community stands for.”

Since its launch, Kylie Jenner’s Kylie Cosmetics has certainly made waves in the industry, and her latest venture Kylie Skin is also turning heads. While we have not always been on board with everything she does (harsh scrubs? WIPES?) we do admire her success and, this week sees the launch of the brand’s first facial sunscreen, promoting safety in the sun this summer (we are all about the sunscreen). The broad-spectrum product has an SPF of 40 and doubles as a makeup primer too. Packed with refreshing shea, kiwi seed oil and vitamins A,C and E, the sunscreen aims to hydrate without leaving the skin feeling greasy..
