BECCA X BARBIE
Since Euphoria hit our screens, it has amassed a cult following with many drawing inspiration from its fashion and beauty. The actors of the show have become icons themselves, with the latest being Barbie Ferreira who has collaborated with Becca Cosmetics on a sparkling eyeshadow and face palette. The iridescent Prismatic Face Palette is great for creating multidimensional looks, some something sleek and subtle, to an all-out bright and bold vibe.
Singer and actress Selena Gomez has launched her beauty brand Rare this week to rave reviews. Unique formulas with the stance of breathable makeup, the line focusses on giving it’s users the chance to adjust and tailor coverage to their own needs, while giving that desirable, fresh finish. From a weightless foundation to a delectable souffle matte lip product, this collection gives consumers a whole range of colour and choice.
KRAZY FOR LENNY KRAVITZ
YSL Beauty has announced that American singer, producer and actor Lenny Kravitz is their newest global face and spokesperson for their fragrance Y, which will be available next April. Kravitz commented: “I’ve always been a fan of Yves Saint Laurent. Of his work, his aesthetic, his lifestyle, his boldness. He was super eclectic and drew from so many places. I also happened to already wear a lot of Saint Laurent. Always have. This was not something I had to fit into or think about. It’s been part of my lifestyle for so many years. It’s a very organic collaboration.”
